History: Born in the south to a Tailor, Flak learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Flak was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Varis was born on a far northern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Assassin. He now mingles about in high society.
