History: Born in the west to a Cook, Hillanot learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Cook work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cook work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Description: This tall, slender woman is renowned for her bright grey dresses and hats. Her long chestnut hair reaches down to her waist. Her eyes are amber and catlike.

Personality: Oriff is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and she is unsatisfied with her job

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a pickaxe, but if one is not available he will default to his sickle. He keeps his black crest in a flapper bob. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Maagog lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and a rival would like him out of the picture
