History: Born to a Guard, her father struggled to pay the bills. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has worked as a Sage like her father before her.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

A gifted student she started as a Cartwright, but she got bored and became a Mercenary. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and sabotage a competitor
