History: Born in the west to a Interpreter, Mehen learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Interpreter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Barendd alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. After a long history of fighting, Barendd and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and he desires to right it.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: Cecily hails from a village terrorized by brigands. At some point she was captured by brigands and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 3 years.
