Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Beggar who has hired him part-time. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Miller profession.

History: Born in the east to a Beggar, Tethren learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Beggar. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Miller. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.
