History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Shax abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Some 3 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Shax never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she loathes her own lifestyle
