Her chestnut hair is matted, messy, and big. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to her own.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying south to reunite her family. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and she wants revenge against dire rats

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gerard embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Brewer they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Locksmith, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Avice lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: This slender man stands about 6'5". He is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by his earthly robes.. His crest is brass and curly. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he has money and likes to spend it
