History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Marbas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Ûggû was born on a far western mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Mayor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world.

Description: The light-skinned woman stands 3'1" and wears many layers of old clothing at all times. She has a very tight haircut. Her eyes are likewise hazel. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Verna is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Verna has worked very hard to control her curse. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
