Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Elf, and stands approximately 4'9". She is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers her face most of the time, and her gloved hand is found clutching a quarterstaff. Her hair is red, silky, and of moderate length. Her gray eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Because her father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her mother from journeying north to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Thiala was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. Nedda enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Nedda lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Halfling people; and to unite with her brother

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and money/treasure
