Description: He stands about 5'2" and tends to wear a violet poncho over his likewise colored trousers and shirt. His right hand appears badly burned and disfigured. With a patchy brown beard and wild brown hair. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Half-Elves.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Half-Orc compassion; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Description: A middle-aged woman, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright tan and yellow, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and is pretty ugly. She has no hair. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. After a long history of fighting, Nala and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

Description: This woman is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. She typically wears violet cloth garments or leather armor. Her broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her amber unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Anastrianna grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Halfling artifacts is her passion; and to reunite with her old friends
