History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She became a Soapmaker soon after.

History: Pearl was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A freak accident while working with her Crown-heir father left her crippled. During her travels, Pearl and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Pearl discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Pearl fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
