History: Pennie was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Barbarian, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Barbarian in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He became a Miller soon after.

Motivation: To be a Unemployed again; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.
