Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Chaedi was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Jarsali hails from a village terrorized by illithids. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
