Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Hoshû fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his mother. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She's also a talented Shoemaker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is greedy.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and her religion dominates her actions
