History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Half-Elves in Rolen's homeland. Rolen decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rolen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Gimgen lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. After a long history of fighting, Gimgen and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Korfel has worked very hard to control his curse. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world
