History: She comes from a rich northern family. She married young, but lost her spouse to giants. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it
