Description: She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and she perpetually has her ceremonial dagger ready. Her long white hair reaches down to her waist. She has a dull look in her hazel eyes.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of illithids once and for all.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents were killed by illithids in a raid when she was still a young child. The illithids captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Volen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of illithids

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears suspenders and grey workpants. His shirt is blue, and he wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time. He has a long white beard with little hanging trinkets. He has violet eyes and a grey hat with a blue feather.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: Gunter lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and she wants to get laid

Description: She is a pot bellied eastern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for her hunting needs. She keeps her long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. Her green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: She is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. She also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. She uses divination through singing.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Herleva alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and she is greedy
