Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Crampernap was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Crampernap was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Crampernap's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born in the north to a Brewer, Mantus learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Description: A hulking woman with gigantic muscles, she likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. Her orange fur is smooth and relatively long. Her green eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. Gale enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
