Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Guard. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Description: This exceptionally lanky woman typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep black leather and dull red iron scale mail. Her hair, while still mostly red, has prominent grey streaks. Her otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
