History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: An imposing man with a heavy stainless steel prosthetic left hand, he prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His green eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. Laucian enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Laucian lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Laucian and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in the west to a Farmer, Tagga learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 5 years.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs
