Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Dyer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Dyer.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
