History: The child of eastern immigrants he idolized his father. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting illithids, the young Abad began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Abad was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.
