History: Born to a Interpreter, her mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Scribe hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Interpreter they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Scribe, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Description: An older man who tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, he is not a threatening figure. His black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Bertram lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Shipwright for the past few years.

Personality: This woman loves painting and to teach people painting more than just about anything. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
