History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Tabaxis.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
