History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. Thorpe liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Being a Sage kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Arannis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Stableman. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.
