History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered east to less war torn lands. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Here is a woman who knows she is the smartest in the room. She talks down to others constantly. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Verna was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Verna was born on a far southern plains where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Painter. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is dressed in an above average manner. He has shaved his head bald. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. The war was a terrible time for him, and Uthemar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Uthemar was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Uthemar decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. After a long history of fighting, Reirak and his spouse have recently divorced.
