Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He wears a worn and beaten armor. He keeps his beige fur in a flapper bob. He has green eyes.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Shadow was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Ella is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered west to less war torn lands. After a long history of fighting, Ella and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Description: She wears a violet coat over a green low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon her head. Her chestnut hair has been sun bleached extensively. Her fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and wants to raise her children well

Description: This light-skinned female prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her tied-back hair is red. Her eyes are likewise violet. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Nella speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Nella lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Cartwright and was forced into it by her family; and she has money and likes to spend it
