He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Tabaxi companion (his 'brother'). When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Hecat hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She worked as a nervous Miller and found it very stressful. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
