Description: She tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. She is physically well-built. Her small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her blue eyes peer out from beneath her small white hat.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Verna hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Verna alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has worked as a Ruler like her father before her.

Motivation: Wants a kiss; and someone believes her a fraud

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He became a Gardener soon after.

Motivation: To be a Carter again.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a blue coat. His deerstalker hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are hazel.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to reunite with his old friends
