History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Barendd reached his early adolescence his Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally she sports a black coat, and is pretty ugly. She has no hair. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is quiet and unassuming. She ignores others and carries on with her job unassumingly. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Gomory is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has worked as a Fisher like her mother before her.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Pandjed was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Pandjed decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He now mingles about in high society.
