History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Skamos was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Jane was born the youngest of three triplets. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. She cares deeply for her spouse and does her best to make sure her guests look presentable.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
