History: Born in the west to a Map Maker, Laucian learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Human Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Valida was born on a far southern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Dilettante. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and expand her business
