History: She was born in the east. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

His violet eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Mardred was born with her father's beautiful face. Her childhood dream was to be a Roofer, but she was a colossal failure. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she is unsatisfied with her job
