History: She comes from a rich northern family. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Alain alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now mingles about in high society.

History: Cloud was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance.
