History: Born in the west to a Brewer, Reynard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He tends to his Brewer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Tanner but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gifted student he started as a Mercenary, but he got bored and became a Tanner. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: Pyntle speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Pyntle fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and she's looking for her big break
