History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Rivaan grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she is perpetually draped in fineries, but all of this concealed by her earthly robes.. Her brown hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. Her eyes are likewise amber.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting gnolls, the young Jasmine began to lead the lost caravan. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She wants revenge against gnolls.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. She sports a flattop hair cut. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and wants to work out more often
