Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. The war was a terrible time for her, and Hadwisa does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Hadwisa was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She now mingles about in high society.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When Charles reached his early adolescence his Half-Elf mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Berrian grew up listening to his father's many stories. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
