History: Gifted from a young age, Ortegar studied abroad. When Ortegar reached his early adolescence his Halfling father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

History: Anne hails from a village terrorized by giants. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it.
