He prefers to carry a scythe, but if one is not available he will default to his shield, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 3'3" when asserting himself. He is bald on top and has large silver tufts of hair around his ears. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
