History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Crown-heir father left him crippled. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Interpreter.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: Kûga hails from a village terrorized by giants. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Kûga alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A deep hatred of giants; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Personality: Emeny hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing writing.
