History: Hamil lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Hamil was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.
