History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shump was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
