Personality: Mardred is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She loathes her own lifestyle.

Description: A middle-aged man, he dresses in violet turtlenecks beneath a grey coat with black slacks, and is pretty ugly. His head has been shaved. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mindartis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mindartis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mindartis. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Personality: Euron is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Euron was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Euron's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and money/treasure
