History: Nalaed was born with her father's beautiful face. At a young age her father died while driving off some brigands. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in quarterstaff use. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and many brigands want her driven away

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

History: Born in the south to a Mercenary, Damien learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
