He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He worked as a nervous Performer and found it very stressful. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a Sage, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
