Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. The war was a terrible time for him, and Valafar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Valafar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
