History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Ishte was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and money/treasure

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Harbek fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
