Description: He is a pot bellied northern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a fancy black suit. His red crest is smooth and relatively long. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs

Description: A woman with a friendly, welcoming air about her, she dresses well, wearing black shirts, loose pants, and blazers most of the time. She has dyed her greying black crest a little too much giving a sharp black color. Her gold eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is a Painter first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Painter arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She tends to her Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a red costume with the symbols of magic on his torso. His chestnut hair is unkempt and raggedy. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Thorpe was born on a far eastern mountains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Ploughman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Ploughman responsibilities is difficult.

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. She keeps her chestnut hair in a pixie cut. Her hazel unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A freak accident while working with her Masseuse father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
