Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Kaladan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He worked as a nervous Tanner and found it very stressful. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and balancing his hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She got into the Hunter business at a young age. A freak accident while working with her Fletcher father left her crippled. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ulla embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Ulla was born the youngest of three triplets. Her first spouse was a Carpenter, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Navigator and was forced into it by her family.
