History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Katherine grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her childhood dream was to be a Junk Dealer, but she was a colossal failure. During her travels, Katherine and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Katherine discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Katherine fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Shepherd arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A freak accident while working with his Bookbinder mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
